Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself on the television. De La Garza born 1976 to her Irish mother as well as an Irish mother and a Mexican father, in Columbus Ohio. De La Garza soon moved to Texas to study physical therapy at University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Orlando Florida and took on different roles as an actor in independent local film as well as international commercials. The small parts didn't stop her from finding out that she enjoyed acting. After that, she relocated in New York in 2001 and she got her first role as Rosa Santos on All My Children A daytime soap. During the early part of 2000 She appeared on small parts for JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was offered her first big series part in the drama The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with a host of the best TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi, and Mitch Pilegge. Her most memorable role was on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. Following a brief time, her character moved into Law & Order: LA. The character of De La Garza was recognized with several nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She has also been awarded ALMA Award nods. She was awarded an Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on an intense television show from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then selected as a regular actor in CSI Miami. She was Marisol Deko in the role of Horatio Caine's wife. She was her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger sister is Cory and is Italian through heritage. She grew up in a family that was conservative and very spiritual. Milano launched her acting career when she was seven after her babysitter joined her at an audition. Four girls were chosen from more than a thousand applicants. Milano was featured in TV commercials as well as off Broadway shows, including the first American musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
