Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. She is best known for her character Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The actress also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in Preparatory School, before her family moved to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. She was a theatre student at Northwestern University and spent a period in the British American Drama Academy. Anna started out in Chicago and worked in theater role for several years. After that, she relocated to Hollywood where she started acting in films and TV shows. In 1992 Anna landed her first big character as Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. She also guest-starred on the show. appeared in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. Then it was only in the latter part of 1990 that she took on an acting role on The Practice. Martha Bullock played two full seasons in Deadwood, which was filmed in the mid 2000's. Skyler was her role in Breaking Bad. Sully was the Deadwood film, and other movies included her. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. The actress, in 2022, also appeared in a series of audio play podcast called Numbered Days. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's life tale and the tension in the marriage he shares with Skyler is mirrored in the television show.
